Hultdins SG forestry grapples are the industry standard on forwarders and log trucks. They are divided in to three series of grapples to meet different market demands around the world. However, common to all is that they are designed to increase your timber handling productivity and with high strength construction and quality components throughout.
The RG grapple is an exceptionally strong, purpose-built rail industry grapple based on the time proven SG forestry grapples. Rail specific synchronized arm design is ideal for handling individual ties, bundles of ties, and rail sections. Protected cylinder is equipped with a direct mounted load holding valve for extra safety.
SuperGrip, made its debut in 1993. Thanks to technical innovations and the use of high-strength steel along with pre-installed pegs, it proved an instant success with users
The SuperGrip II-S is the strongest grab in the SuperGrip II series. It can be used for heavier forwarding work or mounted on an excavator for lighter work.
With the SuperGrip II-S, we feel we have achieved a good balance between strength and weight. It is lighter than the SuperGrip -S, but still stronger than a standard grapple.
The SuperGrip II-S frame is additionally reinforced where it is needed most: around the rotator mount. For the best weight-to-strength ratio, Hardox plates are welded to the frame of the S model with side supports. We also used large pin and bushing diameters to ensure optimum force distribution where the reinforced arms connect to the frame. Of course, internal taper studs are used and even the Model S SuperGrip II is fitted with steel bushings.

The supergrip II -A has made it possible to load roundwood 4% faster and unload it 7% faster than with a conventional grapple. grapple A significantly increases the productivity of roundwood, the angled arms of grapple A squeeze the brushwood into tight bundles. This applies to heavier loads on the forwarder / timber truck as well as to tidy brushwood piles.
